By the mid-nineties, both Tom and Robert had left the global accounting firm and established practices in financial accounting management, outsourced controller and accounting managment services for public companies and local governments.

The practices were combined in order to provide consistent and high quality services in accounting management outsourcing and business software consulting over a broad regional area, capturing much of Oregon and Washington, as well as Alaska.

Today AK Consulting serves clients in the rapidly changing wireless and software industries, as well as more traditional markets such as food manufacturing and government.
